Apparently, blue-eyed boys are shyer and more inhibited compared to their brown-eyed counterparts. This could help explain the results in the "Why Blue-Eyed Boys Are So Brilliant" article you posted regarding the brown-eyed having faster reaction speeds (less inhibited) but the blue-eyed being better strategic thinkers (more inhibition, therefore more thinking about actions before acting, and less impulsive behavior).
